Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ZKM Labs ("we", "us") collects through this website and through the apps we operate, including the Clawbot assistant, and how that information is used. ZKM Labs is based in India.

This website

zkmlabs.com is a static website. It does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and it has no sign-up or contact forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply.

Clawbot and other ZKM Labs apps

Clawbot is a personal assistant that, once a user signs in with Google and grants access, can read that user's Gmail messages and Google Calendar events in order to prepare summaries such as a daily morning brief, and to draft replies for the user to review. It is currently used only by its owner and invited household members; it is not offered to the public.

Google user data we access

  • Gmail: message metadata (sender, subject, date) and message content, read-only, to summarise and prioritise mail and to draft replies.
  • Google Calendar: event titles, times, locations and attendees, read-only, to list the day's schedule.
  • Basic profile: your email address, to identify which account is connected.

We request only the scopes needed for these features. The app does not send email, delete messages or change calendar events on its own; any draft is sent only after you review and send it yourself.

How we use and share it

  • Google user data is used only to provide the features described above to the user who granted access.
  • To produce summaries, relevant message or event text may be processed by an AI language model, either running locally on our own hardware or through an AI model provider acting on our behalf. Providers receive only what is needed for that request.
  • We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train or improve general-purpose AI models.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data, except with your explicit consent, where needed for security or to comply with the law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.
ZKM Labs' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

OAuth tokens and generated briefs are stored on computers we control, protected by device encryption and access controls. Tokens and access are encrypted in transit. We keep generated summaries for as long as they are useful to the user, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

  • You can revoke Clawbot's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, we can no longer read your data.
  • You can ask us to delete any stored tokens or data derived from your account by emailing us. We will do so within 30 days.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting Google user data will be communicated to connected users before they take effect.
